In 1937 Japan invaded China, massacring millions.

Nazi Germany took over Austria in 1938 during the so-called Anschluss.

Hitler extorted through the Munich Agreement in September 1938 the cession of Czechoslovakia’s Bohemian, Moravian and Czech-Silesian borderlands – Sudetenland.

Nazi Germany invaded Poland in 1939 and despite British and French “guarantees”, the country was occupied and devastated, with the help of the Soviet Union, losing some six million of its citizens.

Nazi Germany exterminated millions of people, Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals and anyone else they didn’t like.

The Soviet Union occupied all of eastern and most of central Europe.

Communist China occupied Tibet, claiming that it was an integral part of historical China.

In 1994 some one million Tutsis and moderate Hutus were massacred in Rwanda, while the world watched.

The Bosnian war raged for three years before anyone did anything about it.

Afghanistan has been occupied and re-occupied over the last 30 years, with no end in sight.

The U.S. invaded Iraq for no apparent reason, killing about a million people in the process and making it the longest war waged by the United States.

The conflict in Sudan’s Darfur region has been going on for years, with only lame attempts of the international community to do something about it.

The war in the so-called “Democratic Republic of Congo” has cost so far nearly 5.5 million lives and the international efforts in the region are half-hearted at best.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been either simmering, or raging for the past 60 years. Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak said his country is engaged in “all-out war” with Gaza’s Hamas rulers.

Once again, the world is doing nothing …

Israel moved closer to invading Gaza, saying Thursday it had wrapped up preparations for a broad offensive after Palestinian militants fired about 100 rockets and mortar shells across the border in two days.

Fuck yea baby. Jews versus Muslims. Armageddon. It’s about fucking time Pat Robinson (Robertson), Jerry Falwell, Rob Parsley, John Hagee, Mike Huckabee, Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, John McCain, George Bush, Sean Hannity, Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter, Rudy Giuliani, and Rush Limbaugh were right.

I want to see chaos. I want to see Israelis soldiers beat the shit out of innocent Palestinians while suicidal Palestinians blow up innocent Israelis. I want to see tanks and airplanes flying everywhere blowing shit up. I want to see houses burst into flames and bodies flying through the air.

Why? Because I’m all for people blowing themselves up in the name of a peaceful, loving god. Plus I want to see how the Right Wing will act.

I want to see them crowd around their brand new 47-inch LCD TV listening to whoever is on Fox News talk about how this is the end of the world. I want to see religious men struggle to run home with their pants around their ankles while they masturbate so fast that their dicks start to smoke as they think about the destruction their God is doing. I want to see female Sunday school teachers knuckle deep in their snatch as they get on their knees to tell God how proud they are of Him and ask Him to kill all those who don’t believe that He is the supreme ruler of the universe.

I want this to happen because I’m going to cum buckets when I see the look on a religious person’s face when he/she finally realize that their fucking God is a fake and they brought this stupid, fucking, petty war on themselves.

Then I hope they kill themselves because they’re worthless pieces of shit. Stupid fucking cunts…”

Chaos, mayhem, killing is not exactly what we want to see, particularly in this totally one-sided setup, with one side armed with little more than small arms and home-made rockets and the other with the most sophisticated of weapons.

Whatever happened to the so highly touted Bush Annapolis Middle East peace conference? Was it really what it appeared at the time – just a show? The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been going on for much too long. Isn’t there anybody out there with enough balls to finally force a reasonably just and equitable solution?

Its been a while since the $700-billion + financial bailout measure was approved and since then U.S. Treasury, along with the Fed started disbursing hundreds of billions of dollars to Wall Street firms, banks and almost everyone in the so-called “financial system”. What basically is going on is that the government is bailing out the same creeps, who have in fact caused the worldwide financial crisis.

If you think that the sub-prime mortgage issue and the derivatives and other “financial products” scams are the main issue here, just wait a bit. I assure you that this is just the tip of the iceberg. It is almost a certainty that fairly soon we will “discover’ the true scope of the callous, often incredibly stupid and enormously costly financial crimes committed during the last few years.

On Friday, December 19, 2008, Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson called on Congress to release the second $350 billion, saying that the $14-billion bailout of the U.S. automakers has exhausted the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).

Excuse, me Mr. Paulson, but none of us have the slightest idea where the first $350 billion went. Who got it and why? Are you simply trying to bail out your Wall Street buddies?

On a related note, why is the former chairman of the NASDAQ stock market Bernard Madoff, and as of late the chairman of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC only under house arrest, bracelets and all? Why hasn’t the scumbag been thrown into a damp cell somewhere, while the feds – who have so obviously totally dropped the ball on him – try to squeeze the criminal bastard, in order to recover at least some of the $50, or so billions that he stole from all kinds of people over the years, while running his Ponzi scheme?

Even though I am no great fan of American cars, why was it so hard to shell out $14, or $17 billion on them and so incredibly easy to “bail out” the financial manipulators, who have in fact contributed more than anyone to this economic meltdown?

Both the Treasury and the Fed seem inexplicably reluctant to release any specific information as to whom the money has gone so far, saying that it is a “secret’.

I got news for you, guys. The money isn’t yours, but mine and I and all the rest of the American taxpayers, who shelled it out, have an unalienable right to know what the hell you are doing with OUR money and whether we are actually going to get it back, or whether it will it once again disappear into the cesspool, which our government officials insist on calling “our financial system”.

P.S. The day after the posting of this article, the Associate Press reported that most of the Wall Street firms, which have received hundreds of billions of dollars of our money still own and use fleets of corporate executive jets. Yes, folks, AIG, Citigroup Inc., Wells Fargo & Co., Bank of America Corp., JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Morgan Stanley all still own jets, which are being used for business, personal and pleasure trips by its executives. Pretty sweet,  wouldn’t you say? We pay them and they fly to golf, ski and dine.

President George W. Bush made a farewell visit to Iraq today. He met with Iraqi officials and with U.S. troops.

The highlight of his probably last visit to Iraq as the U.S. commander-in-chief appears to be not the signing of the U.S.-Iraqi security agreement, nor the meeting with American troops at Camp Victory (doesn’t that remind you a little of the “Mission Accomplished” banner?),  but the Baghdad press conference with Iraq’s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

All of a sudden, one of Iraqi journalists present at the event wound up and threw his shoes at President Bush – first one, quickly followed by the other.

Bush ducked quickly and wasn’t hit, but it was a close call.

In Arab culture, throwing shoes is a grave show of disrespect. “This is the farewell kiss, you dog,” the man shouted in Arabic. “This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq,” shouted the man identified by the Associated Press as Muntadar al-Zeidi, a correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television, an Iraqi- owned station based in Cairo.

The shoe-thrower was wrestled to the ground and taken away.

It should be noted that Mr. Bush showed some sangfroid after the incident, shrugging his shoulders and saying “I’m OK. “All I can report is it is a size 10.”

According to the latest polls, President Bush is the most unpopular president in modern history. A CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey indicates that 71 percent of the American public disapprove of how Bush is handling his job as president.

That is not really surprising, but how about the remaining 29 percent? Who could possibly be happy with his performance, or lack of it?

The poll also indicates that support for the war in Iraq has never been lower. Thirty percent of those questioned favored the war, while 68 percent opposed it.

Once again, we wonder, who are these people, encapsulated in the 30-percent figure…

Could they be daft? Or totally uninformed? Probably all of the above.

Lets get back to the miserable 29 percent of those, who DO approve of the president’s performance. We assume that those people enjoy the economic meltdown, the torture issue, which has stained our national honor, the hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis, the ravages wrought upon our environment and so forth.

In closing, we wonder if such patriots parade around with American flag pins prominently stuck in their lapels…
